Joe Ross is a very popular name in the trading world, he is a trader, a trainer, a writer, a consultant, a trading expert. But do his teachings and strategies really work?

Who is Joe Ross
Apparently he started trading at 14 but there is no evidence for this claim. However, Joe Ross has been interested in Online Trading all his life is a fact.
Unlike his other colleagues, he is a “self-made” trader. He started investing right away and only later did he deepen his training. A health problem forced him to slow down with a hyperactive trader’s life and look for alternative routes.
In the 1980s he started writing books, doing consultancy and created the famous “Trading Educators”, his trading school, where he teaches online trading together with his close-knit team of experts.
His activity as a writer is only slightly less than that of a trader, Joe Ross has written 12 books and some of these have become true classics.
He holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of California at Los Angeles and an MBA from George Washington University in Norfolk, Virginia.
Currently he continues to do courses, consultancy and write with some regularity, his trading newsletters are very popular.
Joe Ross Trading Educators
In 1988 Joe Ross opens his “trading school” called Trading Educators, where he makes available his vast experience as a trader and as a communicator at the service of his students.
His courses are not only aimed at teaching effective trading strategies but deal with particular attention to the psychology of trading, which according to Joe, is the human characteristic that most influences the results of financial investments.
Trading Educators offers several training courses that deal with:
- Stocks
- Day Trading
- Spread Trading on commodities
The maximum of possible courses are private classes, where the “tricks of the trade” are taught, but these are very expensive courses, we are talking about several thousand Euros.
Joe Ross opinions

He obviously treats Day Trading as a strategy and does so with Joe Ross’s typical approach, very practical and direct.

This book takes a less technical approach than the previous ones and explains the basics of trading as a business, i.e. as a full-time occupation.

Reading Trading as a Business you understand what are the limits that many traders have and that do not allow them to trade as if it were a real job.
In the book, Joe Ross recalls that on average 75% -85% of traders lose money and try to give an explanation. Usually it is the management of the position and not the entry that is the real Achilles heel of traders, especially those less experienced.

We can’t write a guide on Joe Ross without talking about his Fair Trading.
Unfortunately, we do not have a positive opinion of this website, it is essentially an unregulated broker and this leaves us baffled.
At the basis of online trading there must be security and a secure broker must have at least an authorization issued by a control body recognized at European level.
eToro and ForexTB for example, which we have mentioned in this guide, have a CONSOB and a CySEC license respectively and are totally reliable.
There is not much information on the broker behind the Fair Trading site and this is very bad.

On the web you will be able to read numerous reviews about Joe Ross, his books and his courses. In our opinion he is a valid trainer and disseminator while as a trader we do not know exactly what his real results are.
We consider his courses too expensive compared to what you can find for free on the market, same thing about his books, but our opinion is not negative.
